Lincoln has announced the upcoming 2020 Lincoln Aviator, a brand-new offering for the three-row, seven-passenger SUV segment. Named for the flight-like experience of its ride, the new Lincoln Aviator delivers an effortless balance between large SUV practicality and sports car-like performance.
The 2020 Lincoln Aviator comes with one engine option, a
Twin-Turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 400
lb-ft of torque, plenty of power to make your ride exciting every time.
If you’d like a boost, though, there’s always the Grand
Touring trim—which adds a battery-powered electric motor to the standard
engine, bringing it up to 450 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque.
The Lincoln Aviator is unique in its standard rear-wheel
drive, which gives this SUV extremely responsive handling and exciting
propulsion that echoes the feel of a sports car. If you’d prefer something with
more traction, the Lincoln Aviator will also be available with all-wheel drive.
The Lincoln Aviator will offer several unique styles of
wheels and two different sizes, letting you pick the wheel that best meets your
needs and catches your eye. Each trim also comes with a unique grille design
that makes you stand out on the road.
The luxurious Lincoln Aviator comes with a range of
brilliant technologies, like Adaptive Pixel LED Headlights, which change shape
and distance depending on your speed and can even read road signs to illuminate
the path you need to take when lanes merge or bend sharply.

Are you heading out to see your family for the holidays? This guide for packing for a holiday road trip will save you the headache of leaving something crucial behind.
Are you planning to bring along your phone? What about the kids’ favorite portable gaming devices, tablets, or laptops? Make sure you pack chargers for all your electronics, not just your phones.
A Cooler and Trash Receptacle
Snacks and water bottles on road trips are an absolute must, so pack a cooler – and remember to bring along a place to put everyone’s trash, too, so that cleanup is easier.
Yes, it’s important to look nice over the holidays, so pack an outfit or two for the actual holiday dinner. However, the road trip itself will require soft, comfy clothing and a supportive pair of shoes. Make sure to stop and stretch occasionally!
It’s a good idea to bring along a First-Aid Kit anyway, but in case you don’t already have one in your vehicle, pick up a kit for the long drive just in case.
Your phone is a valuable resource on the open road. There are apps for finding the best gas prices, last-minute hotel rooms, and navigating the best route. Download a music-streaming app, too, so that you can make an awesome driving playlist.
Lafayette, Indiana, is the perfect place to celebrate the holiday season. That’s why the cities of Lafayette and West Lafayette love coming together every year for the Christmas Parade.
This year, the annual Christmas Parade will be held on December 1ston Lafayette’s Main Street, where the whole street and parade will light up with Christmas colors. This parade holds the proud title of Indiana’s largest holiday parade, so you don’t want to miss it! This year, the parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. at 1000 Main Street.
The theme for this year is “A Very Merry Main Street,” which can mean whatever you want it to! You can coordinate outfits with your family to help represent the theme, or just enjoy the sights and sounds of the parade.
The event is completely free to attend. In the parade, you’ll see various floats, marching bands, clowns, fire engines, police, and, of course, Santa himself. One group even gathers together their corgis to walk the parade route in themed Christmas costumes.
If you want to have even more Christmas fun, you can do so by attending the event early. While the parade starts at 5:30, holiday events throughout the day will entertain you and the whole family.
Here at Mike Raisor Lincoln, we wish you and your family a happy holiday season.
When it comes to transitioning from summer to fall and then to winter, changing temperatures can have a big impact on the inner workings of your vehicle. Car care is a big deal, so make sure you don’t skip out on these fall car prep tips when it comes to getting ready for the colder months.
Check the Tires
Having healthy tread on your car’s tires is important year-round, but especially in the winter, when damp or icy weather conditions can make roads extra slippery. Rotating tires is important for helping your tires wear more evenly, but check the tread depth with the penny test to ensure that older tires are safe to be driven on the road.
Change the Oil
Changing oil is a fairly routine part of servicing one’s vehicle, but it’s also one that often goes overlooked, or perhaps you are procrastinating on doing it because it feels unnecessary. Changing oil is an important part of preparing for fall because it keeps all the mechanisms in your engine working smoothly and effectively.
Invest in an Emergency Kit
Sometimes, batteries die and cars slide into ditches, no matter how hard to work to avoid such situations. In that case, it’s good to be prepared for emergencies by keeping supplies in your vehicle’s trunk. Ice scrapers and jumper cables are staples, but you should also look out for your personal well-being with blankets, a coat, nonperishable snacks, and bottles of water.
If you need to prepare your car for fall and winter, bring it to Mike Raisor Lincoln. Our service center can check and rotate the tires and change the oil on your car.
